2023 Season details

The Gold Coast Stingrays will be starting 2023 football activities Monday the 10th of July with our preseason trainings being held each week on Monday and Wednesday evenings.
Gridiron Queensland will be running a split season kicking off on the 21st of October 2023 and finishing with the much-anticipated SunBowl on the 10th of February 2024. We will break for 4 weeks over the Xmas holidays 10th of December 2023 – 12th of January 2023. There will be limited trainings over this break period.
Our 10-13yrs Youth program returns under the leadership of Head Coach Christine Schultz. This program focuses on the introduction to contact football and general enjoyment of its participants with everyone having an opportunity to try something new.
Our 14-17yrs Juniors program led by 3rd year Head Coach Keagan is campaigning to win back their SunBowl title after missing their claim to the 9th straight state title last year. This program has graduated numerous state, national and international football players while being considered one of the most prestigious and successful programs in Australia.
Our 18+ Seniors program is in the final stages of confirming the full coaching staff for 2023. Our Seniors program boasts a very young and talented roster which is hungry to follow in the footsteps of former championship teams and are ready to take the SunBowl Championship in 2023.
